Let’s surprise ourselves today.
For this week, we will revisit our personal Yearly Reflection. Check in – what thoughts did you have at the beginning of this year? What were your hopes, what your goals?
I just read through most of my Yearly again, and I found a many goals I’ve already completed. I’ve also seen a few things that aren’t important for me any longer. For example, at the beginning of the year I wanted to do a driving license – but not anymore.
I’m curious what you will find when you open your own Yearly. Maybe something magical? ✨
Here you go 👇
💡 Reflecting on your Yearly Reflection
(Like always, you can download the Notion template of this issue of Grow Your Mind to take structured notes.)
What thing from your Yearly do you want to remind yourself of more often?
Read through your Yearly and write down everything that seems important or stands out. Like things you wanted to do but haven’t done yet, or insights you had during the read-through. How can you make your notes actionable?
What surprised you?
Anything that’s still true that you don’t remember writing down?
What changed?
Are there things that are different now because of new priorities or other changes in your life? Anything new that needs to be added, or something that you need to remove?
🙏 Thanks!
Thank you for reading and for being part of Mental Garden. Like always, I sincerely hope you found this email useful.
If you haven’t done a Yearly Reflection during the last six months, I encourage you to complete a shorter mid-year reflection for the first half of this year now. It gives you a great sense of clarity which means more peace of mind 🧠
Until next time!
With gratitude,
Marc 🌱
PS: On a personal note, one of the things I really wanted to do this year was going to a meditation retreat. I made it happen! When you receive this email, I’ll be sitting on a cushion somewhere with closed eyes and attend to every of my breath ✨
PPS: Thanks for being a Mental Garden subscriber 🌱
